Ian has been a good friend for nearly 30 years, both at Old Hall and in Wales, He was always ready to lend a hand; bringing up a trailer of firewood, running after cows, advising on bike repairs and suggesting bike routes. I will miss his cheerful, easy company and sharing reminiscences of Old Hall. Since moving to Wales we have had the pleasure of meeting up and going on trips together to explore new areas- Ian always had the map to hand and route options ready!
