Ian joined Pedal Power as a volunteer when it was a project managed by Groundwork North Wales. He became a volunteer very early on in Pedal Powers history and continued his volunteering for many years, always turning up rain or shine. He was a wonderful volunteer who embodied all the qualities you could possibly want, kindness, reliability, commitment, a caring nature, patience, quiet humour, a calm manner, and his wonderful skill for working with people and including them in cycling. Through his passion for cycling, he made a real difference to many at Pedal Power by enabling people who would otherwise be unable to cycle, to enjoy the fun, fresh air and therapy of cycling. It was a privilege to know and work with Ian and he will be sorely missed. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. From all at Groundwork North Wales.
